(5/8/2024) I like the violet and cassis notes here mingling with mulberries and purple plums. It’s medium-bodied, fresh and lively, with purple fruit wrapped up in silky tannins. Lots of energy. Drink or hold.

(4/2024) The 2022 Fleurie Alchemiste has darker fruit on the nose compared to the Les Cocottes, well defined with a touch of seaweed in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, saturated tannins matched by a silver bead of acidity. Very composed yet generous on the finish, this is another top-flight Fleurie courtesy of Dubois. Drinking window: 2025 – 2032.
