What Critics Think
Decanter : 91 Points
(1/30/2019) From one of the coolest areas in Navarra, Tempranillo pairing well with Merlot for a round, supple, stylish wine. Ripe blackberry fruit nicely enhanced by oak ageing. Austere on the finish, quite appealing. Drinking Window: 2019 - 2025.
Vinous - Josh Raynolds : 91 Points
(12/2018) Ruby-red, with a slightly fading rim. Ripe cherry, licorice, vanilla, pipe tobacco, succulent herbs and a hint of cracked pepper on the highly perfumed nose. Offers plump dark berry, spicecake and mint flavors that are lifted by a jolt of juicy acidity. Concentrated as well as lively, finishing on a sexy oak spice note, with impressive length and rounded tannins that come in late. (40% new French oak.) Drinking Window: 2019 - 2024.
