(5/14/2026) The red 2020 Gran Autocton Sumoll was produced with Sumoll grapes purchased from growers in the province of Tarragona. Sumoll is a variety that has very low pH and high acidity (3.05 and 5.95, respectively, for this wine) despite achieving ripeness, and this has 14% alcohol. It matured with the lees in 300- and 400-liter used French oak barrels and amphorae for 10 months. It's pale and aromatic, with floral notes, red berry fruit and a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins in a riper version of the grape. 2,733 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2023. Drink Date: 2024 - 2029.
