Importer's Notes: 90% Viura, 10% Malvasía, planted in 1945 on calcareous clay topsoil over limestone bedrock at 650m elevation in Rioja Alavesa. Hand-selected grapes in vineyard and cellar. Spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts in 225L French oak barrels for 15 days without temperature control. Aging: Malolactic fermentation and 15 months on the lees with bâtonnage in the same barrels. Bottled with no refining or stabilization. Only 1,668 bottles produced.

(2/2024) Named after a beautiful dolmen (megalithic tomb) called Alto La Huesera nearby, this white blend of Viura and 5% Malvasía comes fro a 2.4-hectare parcel in Laguardia. Saffron and lanolin aromas segue into a palate of green tea, lemon and lime, with white flower top notes and a tangy, focused finish. 2024-29.
