What We Think
(6/2025) This Mezcal is crafted from three species of agave plants aged between 7 and 19 years of age. The heart of the plant (piña) is cooked in earthen pit ovens, it's juices crushed and open-air fermented with natural yeasts. It goes through a double distilliation in copper pot stills. The result is a wonderful "sip and savor" quality Mezcal. Complex flavors of citrus, nectarine, banana, masa, white and green peppercorn, lemon verbena, arugula and white chocolate compliment the smoky nuances. Depth and length on the finish point to its typical $50 retail price. Our special price also makes it guiltless to use for a Margarita or Paloma.
