(8/2025) This special partnership wine between two natural wine leaders, Broc Cellars and Selection Massale, is delicious! As Eric Asimov of the New York Times suggested in his review of a previous lot, this wine does NOT taste like most California Cabernets! The wine pours a vibrant ruby, with hints of purple and garnet. On the nose and in the mouth, flavors of barnyard, and natty liveliness give way to cassis, strawberry, black cherry, tobacco, bits of green, olive, pepper, all atop a silky, easy, very alive and incredibly delicious texture and slightly grippy structure. Make no mistake, this is a natural tasting wine, and it's super yummy!
