What We Think
Vin Chicago: 91 Points
(10/2026) From the northern Piemontese of Canavese, rooted in moraines where glaciers once came down from the Mont Blanc, comes an indigenous white grape variety with a rich, if isolated history in the region. Grown on pergolas, and held after picking with a 4-5 day cryo-preservation before using a sealed pleumatic press, fermenting in stainless steel and further aged on fine lees with bâtonnage. Strikingly aromatic from the jump, this wine offers apricot and vibrant herbal tones with jasmine florals, and a whisper of tropicalia within a wine that stays in its pocket, light-to-medium in body, with fresh river pebble minerality keeping things clean. Quite inviting!
