(5/2025) Joy and cheer--a fitting name for this delicious Sicilian red! Gaio also happens to be the nickname of Massimiliano's father, to whom this wine is a tribute. This Nerello Mascalese comes from a selection of the younger vines on the property, many of which are ungrafted, in the Contrada of Calderara Sottana. The wine is brimming with notes of strawberry, blueberry, cedar, wild mountain herbs, and just a hint of smoke. Raise a glass and share the joy!
