What We Think
Vin Chicago: 91 Points
(8/2026) Stradling between western Rias Baixas and eastern Ribeira Sacra, Ribeiro is home to Treixadura, a white variety of increasing appeal which represents 90% of this wine's composition along with 5% Godello and 5% Albarino. Layered and invigorating yet with a subtle waxy texture - this is a steal under $20. In this warmer year, it's a wine that compares favorably to lovers of Campanian whites, Timorasso or dry Chenin Blanc.
What Critics Think
John Gilman : 92 Points
(2/2024) The 2022 Casal de Armán Blanco is crafted from a cépages of ninety percent Treixadura and five percent each of Albariño and Godello. The wine is fermented and raised in stainless steel tanks for nine months prior to bottling. It offers up a refined bouquet of pear, raw almond, a touch of green olive, stony minerality and a topnote of white flowers. On the palate the wine is vibrant, full-bodied and complex, with a lovely core of fruit, excellent mineral undertow and grip, fine focus and a long, beautifully balanced finish. This is first class juice. Drink between 2024-2035.

(12/31/2023) A juicy white, with a lively mix of nectarine, blood orange sorbet, white blossoms and Marcona almond. Creamy in texture, with a fresh, salty finish. Treixadura, Godello and Albariño. Drink now.
