Harnessing fruit from their new area of focus, the Suisun valley (adjacent to southeast Napa County) they're able to more affordably craft sturdy, reliable reds from workhorse heritage varieties like Zinfandel and Petite Sirah. With generous notes of brandied cherries, milk chocolate, raspberry coulis, dried blueberry, mocha and chipotle pepper - this wine is easy to drink all on its own, and beats The Prisoner for less. About $35 at most shops, our price is even extra-strong!
