(2/27/2025) Black cherries, spicy wood, and leafy herbs, as well as a kiss of graphite, all emerge from the 2022 Château La Cour D'Argent, a medium-bodied, focused, lively red based on 95% Merlot and the balance Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. It's going to benefit from a year or two and have a solid decade of longevity.

(1/22/2025) Dark chocolate, toasted spices and ripe dark berries on the nose, following through to a medium body with a meaty and velvety mouthfeel and a deep core of fruit. Drink from 2027.

(1/2025) The 2022 La Cour d'Argent turned out well. Dark red cherry fruit, gravel, dried herbs, menthol and graphite open nicely. The blend is 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, with the Franc add notable aromatic savoriness and a slightly vegetal note as well. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2034.

(11/1/2024) The wine is full bodied, ripe with tannins, and with an English walnut aroma. It is a big wine, in tannins and the youthful black fruits. Drink the wine from 2026.
