What Critics Think
Wine Spectator : 93 Points
(3/31/2026) Ripe and perfumy, with a polished texture, this red oozes soft black currant and lavender flavors. A bitter mineral flash provides contrast, backed by notes of mesquite, incense and singed garrigue on the lush finish. A spine of iron brings structure and drives the impressive length. Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault. Drink now through 2038.
Decanter : 94 Points
(9/30/2024) Vibrant fruit combined with spicy oak – this will take a couple of years to integrate. It will be good when ready, thanks to its freshness and lovely sense of purity, well-balanced acidity and alcohol. Whole-bunch fermented with natural yeasts. Drinking Window: 2026 - 2032.
James Suckling : 94 Points
(4/11/2025) A driven, focused, structured and energetic Gigondas red, showing blackberries, dark plums, licorice and baking spices. Full-bodied with sinewy tannins. It’s pulpy and lively, the crunchy purple-berry character lifted by dried herbs and peppercorns. Long, flavorful finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
