What We Think
Vin Chicago: 90+ Points
(7/2026) We reckon that we've sold no White Bordeaux in greater quantity than Hervé Dubourdieu’s Graves Blanc, imported by Kermit Lynch. This 2024 is a testament to why. In a throwback, cool vintage that struggled to ripen the region's reds — dry whites are a star! Racy and fresh, this is a blend of 60% Sémillon, 35% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Muscadelle from 35 year old vines. It is direct, only reared in stainless steel, vital and fresh. Invigorating notes include green plum, river pebble, gunflint, lemon zest, pineapple pith, green apple, gooseberry and brine. Good length and vigor, a lovely, more stately and affordable alternative to popular Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc in this zesty vintage. Long live White Bordeaux!
