Vin Chicago: 90 Points
(4/2025) If you were traveling by barge along the longest river in France, the Loire, and you were leaving a small port in Sancerre heading north, you'd soon be in the city of Gien, and the wine appellation of Coteaux du Giennois. Mineral, plump, orchard fruit, zippy citrus, and white rock minerals, this white wine tastes like it's down-river neighbor, Sancerre, only at a much more reasonable price! Long live Loire Sauvignon Blanc!
