What We Think
Vin Chicago: 90+ Points
(6/2025) From the dynamic winemaking team of Tiago Teles and Antonio Marques da Cruz comes this scumptious white from the little-known Vital grape. Vital is an indigenous Portuguese varietal grown mostly around Lisbon. The wine sees around 3 weeks on the skins and then goes into 1000L neutral oak for 12 to 15 months. The wine is bottled unfiltered and pours ever-so-slightly hazy, and the skin contact is spot on and gives a hint of tannin on the finish. This incredibly clean zero-sulfur wine shows lovely notes of lime zest, white flowers, marzipan, and white peach.
