(9/21/2023) In the bottle with the gray label, this wine represents another new addition to the Dievole portfolio. Made with 100% organic Sangiovese, the 2020 Chianti Classico Catignano sees fruit from a plateau of vines that are fully exposed to the bright luminosity of the Tuscan sun. This wine offers more fruit weight as a result, with dark cherry aromas, wet stone and dusty mineral. Like the other wines in this presentation, you get excellent value. Drink Date: 2023 - 2028.

(10/31/2023) A round red, sporting cherry, raspberry, iron and tobacco flavors. Firm and dense, compact even on the finish, this needs time to emerge from its shell. All the elements are there, so be patient. Best from 2025 through 2040. 1,500 cases made.

(2/21/2023) A poised red with a perfumed nose of cherries, red currants, wafers and dried flowers. Lemon zest, too. Medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins and fresh acidity. Balanced and vivid with a caressing texture. A fresh and flavorful long finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
