(7/2025) This Kermit Lynch import is an old Vin Chicago fave. The Leydier family makes one of the most delicate fortified sweet wines on the planet. Greeted by the disarming, floral aromatics of Muscat - you'd never guess this adheres to the appellation law mandating a minimum 15% alcohol. Brimming with notes of elderflower, preserved orange peel, macerated apricots, white table grapes, herbal honey, pea gravel and a whisper of the underlying Marc - it's a lovely wine that smells of summer, and an ideal way to finish Sunday brunch.
