(11/2024) Jean-Michel Petit's Domaine de la Renardiere has been crafting some of the most elegant wines from Jura since he began with just 2 hectares of vines in 1990. This Savagnin (not to be confused with Sauvignon Blanc) is a rare and special treat! Savagnin is frequently made into Vin Jaune, an oxidative (and delicious wine). This Savagnin, however, is non-oxidative, fresh, rich, and delicious! The wine showcases the complexity of the grape with notes of apple, lemon, white flowers, and a hint of spice. Excellent now, this wine will age nicely for at least 5 to 7 years.
