(5/2023) Eschewing tradition, the Durieu brothers blend 50% Carignan with Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault to create this tasty concrete-aged red. Juicy primary red and purple fruit tones herald the way for violets, pepper, bramble and a soft plush finish. Very approachable and balanced from the pop the cork, it evolves nicely in the glass and is still delicious on day two. Perfect for any day of the week burgers, barbecue and Italian beef sandwiches.
