(10/2025) Hoppenot has bottled another delicious Fleurie with his 'Indigene' cuvée. Deep in color and flavor, we love the black cherry, plum, black rock minerals and vibrant lift, not to mention super silky texture!

(3/20/2025) The 2023 Fleurie Indigène, from two young-vine parcels—Les Roches and Les Garants—presents an alluring array of aromas, featuring blood orange, black cherry and dried rose petals, complemented by hints of brown spice and vanilla bean. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with plush, vibrant fruit and laced together with a compact but subtle core of powdery tannins. As the flavors gracefully fade, a persistent note of crushed-rock minerality and salinity resists, carrying the wine to a long, utterly satisfying finish. Drink Date: 2025 - 2034.
