What We Think
Vin Chicago: 90 Points
(10/2026) The wines from Marie-Pierre and Eric Plumet have quickly become some of our house faves, but one of the trickiest wines to liberate from their cellar, based around the Massif d'Uchaux, is actually this affordable white! An equal-parts blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Viognier from a biodynamically-farmed vineyard of chalky limestone and gravel-loam soils. It's a clean, grown-up white with not a hair out of place, its structure arriving more in the form of phenolic mouthfeel than its moderate acidity. Notes of honeyed quince, white pepper, pear, tangelo pith and nectarine are attractive and of broad-appeal — a white wine nicely textured for the cooler months.
