What We Think
Vin Chicago: 91 Points
(5/2026) YUM! Lipsmacking and vibrant, from a single hectare of predominantly flint soils Anthony Girard tends to 40-year-old Pinot Noir vines, harnessed to make the rare Sancerre Rosé. Driven by the classic mineral core of Sancerre's terroir, the underpinning of refreshing chalkiness is ensconced with fresh white cherries, white flowers, red apple peel, lemon thyme and salted watermelon. It’s a classy, high-level expression of pink wine with a sense of place! It is equally adept at being a charming patio pounder as it is pairing with summer night al fresco dining. Grilled white meats, tomatoes and olive oil please!
