What Critics Think
Wine Advocate : 92 Points
(1/31/2020) Aged half in old barrels and half in larger formats, the 2017 Crozes Hermitage Georges shows hints of menthol over peppered blackberries on the nose. It's full-bodied and firmly tannic, with taut, fresh fruit flavors and a long, mouthwatering finish. Like the les Croix, this could stand another year in bottle, and it should drink well for up to a decade after that. Drink Date: 2021 - 2030.

(3/1/2021) Pristine blueberry and plum notes are etched by a whisper of anise in this pertly balanced Syrah. Aged 12 months in neutral oak (50%) and concrete tanks (50%), it's a bright, zesty wine that elegantly offsets primary fruit against invigorating minerality. Lovely now but should drink well through 2027.
Vinous - Josh Raynolds : 91 Points
(3/2019) Brilliant magenta. Intense black and blue fruit, peony and cracked pepper aromas, along with a smoky bacon quality that builds as the wine opens up. Energetic blueberry and black raspberry flavors show sharp delineation and lift thanks to a spine of juicy acidity. Delivers a solid punch of flavor but comes off lithe and finishes with bright, mineral-driven persistence and just a hint of supple tannins. Drinking Window: 2022 - 2029.
