(8/2026) L’Inconnu translates to ‘The Unknown’ but once you put your nose in a glass of this wine you'll find it to be unmistakably Loire Cabernet Franc. Aromas of tart cherry and raspberry are fresh, vibrant and quite appealing. On the palate, notes of slightly darker cherry and blackcurrant emerge. At a lithe 11% ABV, the wine is delightfully light on its feet. Savory spice and herbaceous character provide complexity and interest as the wine opens more in the glass, complementing the fruit-driven nature nicely. You can easily put a light chill on this one and enjoy as an aperitif or with grilled chicken, stuffed peppers or charcuterie boards.
