(5/2025) This is Bouvier's flagship red from their home base in Gevrey. Crafted from a 3 hectare parcel of 50 year old Pinot Noir vines, the wine is raised in wood, with just 20% being new. Incredibly fresh, with a serious structure, the wine is gives a ton both aromatically and texturally, revealing layers more akin to a 1er Cru level. Long, with deep cherry and black berry, this young wine offers spice, herbs, chalk, gripping tannins and lifted minerality. A serious bottle, and a seriously good deal for this Kermit Lynch import.
