(8/6/2024) Magenta-hued, the 2021 Pinot Noir Evenstad Reserve leads with oak spice notes as well as raspberry preserve, baking spice, cedar, and cola. It’s ripe throughout, with tasty spices lasting through the finish and a supple, pliant feel. These are ripe wines, no doubt, but they are well-made and should hold up over the next 8-10 years.

(3/1/2023) A 'Goldilocks wine' where everything, down to the restrained alcohol, is just right. Blackcap raspberries, dried rose petals, beeswax and a touch of Madagascar vanilla draw the nose deeper into the glass. Bright red cherry and tangerine flavors create a juicy and pleasurable sweet-tart flavor combination.

(3/7/2024) A supple texture shapes abundant black and red fruit in this well-concentrated, polished and composed wine. A full body and suede-textured tannins give it a nice heft on the palate. Drink or hold.
