(6/2026) Starting with the 2024 vintage, what used to be called 'Tradition' is now 'Les Prémices,' but it's the same excellent dry Gewurztraminer we've come to expect every vintage from Emile Beyer. This wine is a benchmark for classic dry Alsatian Gewurztraminer, which is not a surprise considering the family has been making wine in the region since 1580! Christian Beyer converted the Domaine to organic in 2005, with certification in 2014, and has moved to biodynamic viticulture since 2016. 'Les Prémices' is a luscious yet not overbearing Gewurztraminer with lovely notes of lychee, peach, pineapple, and honey underpinning herbaceousness and spiciness.
