(4/2025) The NV (2023) Brut L'Esquisse is a powerful, driving wine. Dried pear, herbs, chamomile and crushed flowers lend a distinctly savory character. I especially admire the wine's energy and tension, both of which make it a fabulous choice for the dinner table. L'Esquisse is 76% Meunier and 24% Pinot Noir from Cuisles, Jonquery and Châtillon-sur-Marne, based on 2023 with 15% reserve wines. Dosage is 1.5 grams per liter. Disgorged: February 6, 2025. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2032.
