Vin Chicago: 91 Points

(9/2026) A blend of 60% Pinot Meunier and 40% Pinot Noir, this iteration of this negociant-crafted non-vintage bottling is all red grapes! This feels very fresh, is vivid and well-balanced. A broadly-appealing Champagne that surprised us, bettering not just the basic big brand selections, but some of our fave well-priced growers. Lemon-squeezed over green apple and yellow pear, there's a tipple of green strawberry, chalk and lime marmalade on toast. Delicious Champagne doesn't always need a famous name.
