(10/2025) For these fun liters of Austrian white, Heidi Schrock and her sons blend Pinot Blanc with small bits of Muskateller and Chardonnay. An expressive, elegantly floral wine that feels lighter than its labeled 13.5% ABV. Quite a pretty nose dotted with raw hazelnut, spring flowers, acacia honey and quince blossom dancing over pithy grapefruit and red delicious apple. The weightless palate gains traction with a tonic-like phenolic grip, suggestive of skin-contact winemaking, which echoes through a long finish.
