(5/2025) Vigneron Romain Collet is a highly respected producer in Chablis. Together with partner Kermit Lynch, Romain created the Henri Costal label to honor the name of his grandfather, and working closely with Kermit, crafts stunningly delicious Chablis bottlings from some of the best parcels in the zone, all at fair prices. Incredibly, we have one of the best 1er Cru bottlings, 'Vaillons', at a sale price, and the wine is delicious. Classic, with chalk and lively minerality leading the way, this dry Chardonnay also offers plump citrus and orchard fruits and generous texture. A silly good deal here!
