(11/2024) Despite the name, we certainly did not feel insouciant when we tasted this wonderfully balanced and refreshing Rosé Champagne from Huré Frères! A blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, and 20% Pinot Meunier with 5% still red wine added to the blend, most of the fruit comes from Ludes in the Montagne de Reims. Light cherry and rose petal notes lead to a lovely, saline finish.
