(4/2023) This wonderful wine was a star at our dinner at Jaleo with up-and-coming Spanish importer San Pelayo. It is a modern-style Rioja that carries the tradition of the zone and a good sense of place. Very fresh, red berry and earth notes are just touched lightly by oak barrel. This deliciously balanced red drinks well above its price.
