(9/2026) 'Eau Forte' (meaning Strong Water) is a wine Lapalu makes that is both easy drinking (the 'Eau' in the name) and persistent on the finish (the 'Forte' in the name) from vines just on the border of his holdings in Brouilly. Aged for 6 months in old barrels, there's a lovely depth to this Gamay that complements the red fruit and floral notes with a touch of refreshing tannin on the finish.
