What Critics Think
Vinous - Eric Guido : 93 Points
(6/2025) The 2021 Isosceles is remarkably pretty, with a peppery array of wild herbs, mint leaf and tart cherries. Silken in feel, it reveals depths of ripe red and black fruits that slowly saturate as a core of vibrant acidity maintains energy throughout. The finish is structured and long, leaving a tart concentration of primary fruits and a balsamic twang. Drinking Window: 2027 - 2034.

(11/1/2024) Intense aromas of black plum, crushed elderberry, violet, smoked meat and turned earth make for a cohesive nose on this legendary blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc and 7% Merlot. Firm, expertly integrated tannins frame the palate's lively and rich flavors of strawberry, dried herb and pepper.
James Suckling : 93 Points
(8/24/2024) A concentrated and rich nose with aromas of blood plums, mocha, prunes and baking spices. The plate is full-bodied with firm tannins and long, lingering notes of blackberry compote, roasted meat, graphite and citrus rind. Made from a blend of 86% cabernet sauvignon, 7% cabernet franc and 7% merlot. It needs time in bottle for the tannins to soften. Drinkable now, but best from 2028.
