(11/2021) The 2019 Malbec Primeras Viñas Gualtallary from the Uco Valley was aged for up to 18 months in foudres. A vivid purple in hue, the nose offers notes of country herb, potpourri, fresh plum and raspberry with gunpowder and aromas from the aging process. Terse in the mouth with finely grained tannins and sharp, juicy freshness, it’s still quite raw but will improve in the bottle.
