What We Think
Vin Chicago: 91 Points
(8/2026) Yum! Ripe but racy, this Burgundian-styled Beaujolais wears the levity of the vintage well and becomes much more open-knit with oxygen. The value for money from these 70-year-old vines on the Grand Cras lieux-dit of Morgon is excellent. Predominantly destemmed fruit receives a 15 day maceration with press-downs, aged in foudres for nine months.
What Critics Think
Wine Enthusiast : 94 Points
(12/1/2025) Plump black plum, black raspberry and black tea aromas entice the nose along with dried violet blossom. Black fruit hovers over measured acidity that complements and flatters the juicy finish. You can drink now, but this wine can improve in bottle for many years to come.
