Vin Chicago: 90+ Points
(7/2026) This Vin Chicago fave from the Defaix family is back, with an old-school Chablis vintage full of vigor after a dynamic vintage filled with challenge, suspense and intrigue. We really like the final result, a lively, leesy personality that pushes fruit in the background with the acidity enlivened. Lemon oil, tonic, raw hazelnut, fresh yellow apple and loads of white florals. Yum!

(10/10/2025) Here too there is good Chablis typicity on the petrol, quinine and citrus rind-infused aromas of mostly ripe white orchard fruit. Once again there is good volume and richness to the succulent and appealingly textured medium weight flavors that deliver better depth and persistence on the slightly firmer finale.
