(10/1/2024) Dark pomegranate, raspberry and hibiscus aromas meet with tea leaf and dark sage on the dynamic nose of this appellation cuvée. The palate is lively with thyme, oregano and bay leaf flavors, set against a black raspberry core and atop a lingering texture.

(8/2024) The 2022 Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) is textbook SLH—everything you want from an easygoing, early-drinking red. Sweet raspberry, lavender and sour cherry open in the glass, giving way to a generous mouthfeel that coats every corner of the palate in juicy red fruit. Considering the growing season, a touch of heat on the finish is eminently forgivable. Drink this charming Pinot over the next few years. The quality-to-price ratio is undeniable. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2028.

(8/15/2024) The appellation 2022 Pinot Noir is terrific and a terrific value in impeccably made Pinot Noir. All destemmed and brought up in neutral oak, it's a forward, total charmer offering ripe red fruits, spice, and floral notes in a medium-bodied, balanced, fruit-forward, yet elegant package. It's not going to make terribly old bones, but it's one satisfying 2022 to enjoy over the coming 4-5 years. Maturity: 2024 - 2029.
