MacRostie Russian River Valley Pinot Noir 2022

A 324 case production from 100% Pinot Noir, hand-sorted and gently destemmed into 1-ton Super T fermenters. Skins were punched down twice a day during fermentation to achieve maximum color and flavor extraction, with minimal harsh tannins from the seeds. Wine was pressed from the skins into French oak barrels (31% new) for 10 months of aging. From its rich purple-sapphire color to its beautiful high-tone perfume and black cherry aromas this is a wonderfully inviting wine. On the palate, lavish flavors of raspberry, blackberry pie and sweet baking spices meld with toasty oak to create a luxurious and complex Pinot Noir with a long, creamy finish.
