(7/2025) This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Breganze hills in northeastern Italy, planted to volcanic soils. After aging for a year in French oak barriques (50% new) it delivers harmonious notes of dried red cherry, sweet and sour elements, violets, walnuts, sweet tobacco, dried blackberry, cedar, pine and mint - with fine structure and excellent acidity. Full of charm already, this should drink nicely through the decade, reminding of a hybrid of Cab from Santa Cruz Mountains, Western Australia and Stellenbosch.
