What Critics Think
Jeb Dunnuck : 95 Points
(8/26/2025) The 2023 Chardonnay Mo'zaik comes from a more marine-influenced site. It pours a bright silver-straw color and opens savory and brothy, yet retains focus and clarity. The palate is more explosive than the nose suggests, with a full-bodied texture and flavors of ripe peachy fruit, honeycomb, and mineral length. Drink 2025-2037.
Decanter : 95 Points
(5/13/2025) The 2023 Mozaik is a blend of sites, with lemon cream and brightening by verbena taut acidity, minerality, crisp salted lemon wedge. There's sweet, creamy citrus. Crushed granite minerality and salt. 1/3 local Oregon oak. Lemon curd, chalky minerality, green mangoes, white pepper. Fruit from Pearlstad, on the ‘Eola bench’, an ancient landslide with not much topsoil, creates mineral-focused wines that are lean and electric. Winemaker Evan Martin believes these unique Pearlstad soils are the closest thing to limestone in the Willamette. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2036.
