(2/2025) Fourth-generation winemaker Pascal Biotteau crafts this wine in the village of Saint-Jean-de-Mauvrets. Clever micro-negociant Mary Taylor helps bring this wine stateside to fans of her smartly-priced, artisanally produced portfolio. The '23 harvest delivered more vibrant wines across the Loire, with the return of racy acidities sometimes absent in increasingly warm vintages. Textbook dry Chenin with yellow apple notes, honeyed stone fruit, quince, chalk, and a shaving of Manchego rind. Chapeau!
