Vin Chicago: 91 Points
(5/2025) Intensely aromatic with floral notes of roses and violets, the initial expectation for this 100% Ruché may be a wine that is light bodied on the palate. However, checking in at 15% ABV, there is deceptive weight and surprising power that comes from 20% of the grapes being late harvested which adds considerable concentration and depth to the wine. The fruit character reveals raspberry, black cherry and wild berry preserves with light tannins and fine acidity. Certainly a wine to enjoy with mushroom or truffle dishes, as well as spicier dishes and traditional Italian pastas.
