(3/4/2025) Rossignol's Bourgogne Rouge is entry-level in appellation name only, as the grapes used to produce this rocking wine come entirely from Volnay and Pommard! The biodynamically-grown fruit is 100% destemmed and fermented with native yeasts. This Bourgogne Rouge is powerful but balanced and bursting with the ripe, dark red fruits of the 2022 vintage. Digging deeper, we got subtle notes of freshly turned earth, forest floor, and truffle. The mouthfeel is soft with a lingering finish that begs for another sip!
