What We Think
Vin Chicago: 91 Points
(11/2024) This is delicious! From chalky clay organically farmed estate vineyards on the island of Sardinia, the Pala family grows this little-known grape with great success. Juicy and savory, with a southern Italian rustic soul, this ripe red fruited red is fresh, with hints of licorice, sagebrush, and red earth; the wine is easy, yummy, and filled with character.
What Critics Think
James Suckling : 93 Points
(10/9/2023) Aromas of red plums, grilled grapefruit, dried strawberries, potpourri and dried herbs. The elegant, medium-bodied palate is framed by fine-grained tannins with tangy, medium acidity. Crunchy and vibrant, showing lovely fruit purity and spices in a lengthy finish. Drink or hold.
