The first thing we noticed when we popped open the 2020 Pamplin "Klipsun Vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon was just how fresh it felt, practically dripping with fruity flavors like we had just picked berries from the vine. Front-loaded with lively raspberry and blackcurrant, this wine is just a total joy to drink. With more notable fruit than some of its other single-vineyard counterparts, we were also pleased to unfurl some deeper tobacco and even cocoa notes as we ventured for more sips. Bundled up with some herbaceous and a super well-balanced tannic structure, this wine is drinking awesome right now and should only continue to impress! Scoop it up while you can!
