(11/2024) One of Washington’s most famous sites, the Klipsun Vineyard is located on Red Mountain and was named one of the "Top 25 Vineyards in the World" by Wine & Spirits. At 14.3% ABV, It is the proverbial iron fist in a velvet glove, with an almost elegant quality to its otherwise beastly nature. Pure ruby in the glass, this wine is outstanding, presenting notes of dark coffee and licorice along with savory notes of olive, smoke, cocoa, peppery spice, edgy minerality and big time power. The fruits are black, with currant and blackberry tones complemented by layers of fig and red cherry.
