(8/17/2026) The first of several Freedom Hill wines, the 2024 Pinot Noir Freedom Hill Vineyard pours a jeweled ruby color and initially shows a touch more oak spice. With air it blossoms, revealing ripe raspberry, cherry, minty herbs, and remarkable finesse. Freedom Hill naturally wants to produce darker, more tannic wines, but careful vineyard work has emphasized elegance instead. Medium-bodied, this wine floats across the palate with ripe tannins and exceptional refinement. One of my favorites. Drink over the next 10 years. Maturity: 2026 - 2036.
