(8/6/2024) The first bottling of this wine, the 2022 Pinot Noir Lillie's Vineyard opens to notes of ripe wild raspberries, eau de vie, fresh flowers, sweet herbs, and wet stones. A gorgeous wine and one of the top wines in the vineyard, it’s seamless on the palate, with wonderful structure, ripe tannins, even acidity, a beautiful refreshing lift on the long finish. Just gorgeous. Drink it over the next 20 years. It’s great now and will have a wide window. Maturity: 2024 - 2044.

(5/2024) Rosy and perfumed, the 2022 Pinot Noir Lillie's Vineyard wafts up with a pretty blend of wild strawberries, chalk dust and wet stones. This is juicy and pure in style, with crisp red and blue fruits that course across a wave of cooling acidity. The 2022 tapers off with tension, leaving a staining of primary concentration and a saturation of silty tannins that tug at the cheeks. The Lillie's was fermented with 50% whole-cluster fruit. Drinking Window: 2026 - 2034.
